As a principal in blum’s Accounting and Auditing Department with over 30 years of experience, Ann Marie works with for-profit and non-profit clients primarily in the healthcare and human service industries. She counsels clients on both short-term and long-range planning, financing and other general business matters that impact their overall operations and stability. She has successfully advocated for clients in the course of audits performed by regulatory and funding agencies, and rate and contract negotiations with funding agencies. She has also assisted with sales, acquisitions, and the certificate of need process before the Rhode Island Department of Health.
Ann Marie stays abreast of the ever-changing regulations, reporting and funding guidelines issued on a federal level by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as on a state level by the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the state’s Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals.
Ann Marie previously served as principal at Sullivan & Company prior to its merger with blum in 2013.
