As a manager, Ernie has over 20 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector, including reviewing and preparing financial statements; preparing budgets and forecasts; grant reporting; and developing financial policies and procedures.
Having assisted with the implementation of QuickBooks for many new clients, Ernie also provides QuickBooks training in both one-on-one and group settings. He has also been a presenter for the Connecticut Association of Non-Profits.
Prior to joining blum in 2018, Ernie was a manager at Premier Accounting Group, where his responsibilities included managing engagements; Chief Financial Officer services; work paper and financial statement preparation; special projects-set-up of QuickBooks, and client special projects as needed.
