As a partner in the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Department and industry leader of the firm’s Hospitality Services Group, Jen has almost 20 years of public accounting experience, including 7 years with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.
In providing audit services to a wide array of clients—including those in the hospitality, education, technology, manufacturing and distribution industries—Jen works with some of the largest hospitality management companies in the country, as well as a number of non-profit agencies, specializing in audit services for educational institutions.
Jen is a member of blum’s Innovation Committee, for which she provides input into current and future challenges by reviewing new technology and ideas—striving to put blum at the forefront of the industry. The Committee leverages collective knowledge to provide advantages to ourselves and our clients by reimagining the way we deliver our services and respond to client needs.
Each year, Jen teaches several continuing professional education courses for many of our firm’s employees and clients—and helps run the philanthropic efforts of the firm’s Rhode Island office.
She is also the sponsoring partner for blum’s Women Who Lead initiative, a program that strives to achieve equal leadership presence at blum by mentoring and empowering female professionals at every stage of their career—at work, at home and in our communities. In addition, she offers honest feedback and advice to all blum employees about how to support the women they work with.
