As blum’s Chief Information Officer, Mark is the corporate executive in charge of information technology (IT) strategy and implementation. He has extensive experience with building networks; data security; researching new technologies and trends; addressing the risks associated with digital information; data analytics; telephony services; and strategizing how technology can provide value to the firm.
As our company expanded throughout New England, Mark was vital to the task of connecting and integrating multiple offices with technology—building the infrastructure that is the supporting foundation for everything we do as a firm.
Over the many years that he has been with blum, Mark has shifted his focus from traditional IT responsibilities of fixing what’s broken and keeping the lights on—to solving challenges of the firm using cloud computing, big data analytics and collaboration platforms to develop applications and systems that enable blum employees to work efficiently and make better decisions that drive our business forward.
Mark not only enables the vision and goals of the firm through the meticulous and persistent distribution of technology, he strives to increase collaboration over spread out offices—maintaining a family feel and atmosphere through technology and solutions that help bring people together.
