As Chief Financial Officer of blum, Tammy is responsible for managing financial growth; implementing process and software improvements; analyzing financial results and forecasts; and integrating systems and processes from various mergers. She is a highly accomplished, trusted advisor proficient in recognizing and resolving challenges to improve overall profitability.
In her time at blum, Tammy has launched a billing department to improve efficiency and consistency, championed a firm-wide initiative to set expected outcomes for all clients—resulting in predictability of realization rates as well as improving accuracy on client metrics—and spearheaded implementation of a self-insured health program that reduced the firm’s health insurance costs with minimal impact to employee contribution rates.
Her strong communication and interpersonal skills have allowed for confident management of over 60 partners at our firm. She is an active member of blum’s 401(k) committee, which is focused on fulfilling our fiduciary responsibilities, and has implemented a successful participant education program.
Tammy was awarded CFO of the Year by the Hartford Business Journal in 2016.
