Assessment Services

Our business enterprise review assessment focuses on four key areas: people, process, technology and data & information. Specifically we focus on:

  1. Understanding the future state vision of the organization and identifying the gaps between that vision and current processes.
  2. Identifying and developing short term “quick win” plans to address process effectiveness and efficiency gaps.

Software/Vendor Selection Services

blum’s software selection process incorporates a best practice approach to vendor/software application selection. Our approach is composed of two phases:

Initiation and Discovery – including initiating the project, interviewing stakeholders, identifying your unique requirements, educating you and your management team on the current state of the software marketplace and what the pros and cons of these options are relative to your needs, identifying a vendor list and creating the request for proposal (“RFP”); and

Evaluation and Decision – including managing vendor inquiries and evaluating RFP responses across six domains (, creating vendor demonstration scripts and managing demonstrations, evaluating vendors against your requirements and providing a recommendation, providing implementation planning support and supporting contract negotiations.

Cost for our services is often fully recovered through the evaluation and contract negotiation.
