QUINCY and CHATHAM, MA, ISSUED MAY 21, 2019 – Frank Rudewicz, partner at blumshapiro, the largest regional business advisory firm based in New England with offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, recently addressed the Connecticut Bar Association’s Litigation Section Annual Meeting, held at Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA, earlier this month.
Rudewicz, a former investigator for the FBI, addressed the topic, “Forensic Accounting and Complex Litigation.” He instructed the participants on how to spot the numbers that lie and how to challenge an expert financial witness who is attempting to paint a picture based on a false and/or fraudulent economic basis. Additionally, he gave attorneys strategies on how to tear apart the scams and financial presentations of their opponents, so that a judge or jury can see through to the truth of the matter.
“These are important topics for litigation lawyers, and I was happy to have the opportunity to address the Connecticut Bar Association and share some of what I’ve learned from my previous experiences,” said Rudewicz. “I am grateful for the invitation to address this distinguished group.”
